PURPOSE:To manufacture a nonoriented electromagnetic steel sheet, which can prevent ridging in low cost without needing drastical reconstruction in the existing equipment. CONSTITUTION:At the time of casting molten silicon steel into a continuous casting mold from a tundish, while adding metal powder or alloy powder having 5mum-5mm grain size at 0.1-5% of ratio to the molten steel stream so as to become steel containing in wt% of <=0.01% C, 1.3%<=Si+Al<=5.0%, <=1.5% Mn and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, continuous casting is executed, and after hot-rolling the obtd. steel slab, intermediate annealing is executed or without executing this annealing, cold-rolling is executed and successively, finish-annealing is executed to manufacture the nonoriented electromagnetic steel sheet having excellent ridging resistance. By adding the metal powder composed of the same component as the component contained in the molten steel, the electromagnetic steel sheet having excellent ridging resistance can be manufactured in low cost. |
