PURPOSE:To solve a problematical point where time is required and a constitution unit becomes large since a work positioning operation and a focusing operation are independent and a focusing speed to be increased and a device to be miniaturized when focusing a work at a constant angle due to limitation in a work shape. CONSTITUTION:A positioning table 17 is provided with both functions of a work positioning operation and a focusing operation, a resolution switching means 24 for switching an axial resolution of each operation is achieved, an image signal from an image pick-up portion 19 is subjected to image processing by a visual recognition portion 20, and then a characteristic shape within a visual field is searched for by a software using a characteristic shape searching means 25, thus obtaining a high-speed, highly accurate, and compact focusing device for a fine characteristic shape of a work. |
