NEW MICROOGANISM BACILLUS SUBTILIS SUBSPECIES

摘要

Biologically pure cultures of Bacillus subtilis subsp. Krictiensis (ATCC 55079) and of its mutant M18-91 (ATCC 55078) are new. The new microorganisms produce the antifungal complex KRF-001 which is useful as an agricultural or therapeutic fungicide, food preservative or skin moisturizer. KRF-001 is an oligopeptide and has a broad spectrum of activity and low toxicity.
