<p>PURPOSE:To form a reverse mode and to miniaturize a recorder by utilizing a preliminarily energizing elastic means for the movement of a direction switching lever to the reverse mode and only releasing a lock. CONSTITUTION:This recorder is provided with a freely slidable direction lever 64 which becomes a forward mode when moved in one direction and a reverse mode when moved in an opposite direction. This direction lever 64 is elastically energized in a direction so that it is made to the reverse mode by a pulling spring 70. Also, this direction lever 64 is locked at a position for forming a forward mode by a direction locking member 71. Then, at the end of the forward mode, tape end detecting means 85, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 99 and 101 are disposed for releasing the lock and thus, an autoreversing mechanism is simplified.</p> |
