<p>PURPOSE:To make a data compressing circuit by the orthogonal conversion, quantizing and variable length encoding into an integrated circuit without making complicated the circuit constitution. CONSTITUTION:In a difference circuit 13 to obtain the difference value between the direct current component of the quantizing output of respective blocks from a quantizing circuit 12 and the direct current component of a front block, the counted difference value is outputted by the same bit width as the bit width of the direct current component of the above-mentioned respective blocks. Even when the number of the bits of respective kinds of variables becomes except the number of the power of 2, handling is executed on the data bus by using the number of the power of 2. Thus, the integrated circuit can be obtained.</p> |
