摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce cost by conducting magnetic flux, generated from a pair of clamping electromagnets disposed at the opposite ends of a piezoelectric element, through a ferromagnetic substrate and generating clamping force between the electromagnets thereby achieving step motion only through a single thrust piezoelectric element. CONSTITUTION:Flux is generated from a pair of clamping electromagnets 2, 2' disposed at the opposite ends of a piezoelectric element 1 and conducted through a ferromagnetic substrate 9 thus producing clamping force between the electromagnets 2, 2'. Main flux is generated at first from each of the electromagnets 2, 2' by applying an AC voltage onto an exciting coil 3. Voltage and flux, lagged by 90 deg. in electric angle behind the main flux due to transforming function, are induced in a short circuit coil 5 partially interlinking with the main flux. Magnetic attraction force due to the induced flux is imparted to the magnetic attraction force functioning between the electromagnets 2, 2' and a substrate 9. Consequently, magnetic attraction force and thereby clamping force exist continuously and step motion can be achieved only through a single piezoelectric element 1.
