PURPOSE:To enhance the dust-collecting efficiency of the title air filter without increasing a ventilation resistance by a method wherein a plurality of protrusions are formed on a sheet and the protrusions are arranged on the side of the surface of the sheet in such a way that they protrude toward the outside. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 1 composed of a filtration material having a prescribed thickness of T is folded with a prescribed pitch of P in a wavy form; one side of the sheet stretched and bridged is made the outer side O and the other side the inner side I; the air 2 is passed from the outer side O to the inner side I. The air 2 is filtered by means of the sheet 1. Especially, a plurality of protrusions 3 are formed on the sheet 1, and the protrusions 3 are arranged on the side of the surface 1A of the sheet 1 in such a way that they protrude toward the outer side O. The protrusions 3 are arranged in such a way that they are formed alternately on the wavy faced surface 1A. Thereby, the dust- collecting effect of the title air filter can be increased without increasing a ventilation resistance. |
