PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a switching circuit by applying a simple circuit constitution and placing priority on the prevention of overcurrent, regarding a conventional complicated, less reliable and yet expensive switching circuit. CONSTITUTION:An IC with four voltage comparators 10, 12, 16 and 23 is used in a control circuit for driving and controlling a switching element 3 to cause a flow of high frequency current through a coil 2 for induction heating. Each of the comparators 10, 12, 16 and 23 is assigned a function to control the operation of the circuit for adjusting the synchronization, conductivity width, delay, shaping, overcurrent and phase. In addition, the oscillation of the switching element 3 can be stabilized at the zero potential of a commercial power supply via a half-divided voltage rectifying circuit 6. |
