A method of producing 7-/Z-2-(2-aminothiazole-4-)-2- methoxyimino-acetylamino /cephalosporine acid sodium in D form by subjecting 7-/Z-2-(2-aminotiazolilo-4-)-2- methoxyimino-acetylamino /cephalosporin acid, its hydrate, methanol, ethanol or formic solvates or their mixture to the operation of the factor facilitating carrying out acid into sodium characterised in that as the factor facilitating carrying out acid into sodium, sodium hydroxide in aqueous or aqueous-organic solution is used, where lower aliphatic alcohol or cyclic ether mixing with water is used as an organic co-solvent, and the process is carried out at the temperature of 240-293 degrees K, and pH of the solution is within 5-8 units, and the final product is separated from the produced solution.
