The water-drainage gutter in a concrete slab comprises profiled steel sections covered by gratings. Angle-pieces(12) bridging the joins between the sections(1) are bolted to them, the bolts fitting in holes(16) in the section ends and elongated ones(15) in the angle-pieces. Each grating(5) is screwed to a rustproof locking stirrup(10), whose downwards-protruding spring arms(10a) snap into engagement with lengthwise ribs(8) on the side flanges(3) of the gutter sections. The latter have anchoring flanges(6) bent downwards from the top edges, and which contain recesses(7) for venting air when pouring the concrete. End plates are provided at each gutter end. ADVANTAGE - easy alignment of sections during installation, and no flow restriction by bulky fixing brackets for the gratings.
