<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of using a printer, to miniaturize a POS terminal and to improve reliability by permitting an IC card reader/writer to record sales information into an IC card. CONSTITUTION:A display for operator 2, a display for customer 3, a journal printer 4, a keyboard 5, a memory 6, the IC card reader/writer 7 and a bar code reader 8 are connected to CPU 1. Sales information inputted from the keyboard 5 or the bar code reader 8 is transmitted to the IC card reader/writer 7 via CPU 1 and it is written into the IC card. Thus, printing by the printer becomes unnecessary, the POS terminal can be miniaturized and reliability can be improved by permitting the IC card reader/writer 7 to record sales information into the IC card.</p> |
