A method for production of red dye preparation of a garden beet, characterised in that from an aqueous solution of a garden beet dye of red dye concentration not less than 0.1 percent and a content of substances soluble in water above 10 percent, a dye-containing deposit is precipitated through acting on the solution with an organic solvent, soluble in water, of concentration from 60 to 100 percent, preferably with ethanol or acetone or a mixture of those, but per one part of the solution from 2 to 15 parts by volume of a solvent or its solution are used, after which the precipitated deposit is dried by means of a said method.2. A method for production of red dye preparation of a garden beet, characterised in that from an aqueous solution of a garden beet dye of red dye concentration not less than 0.1 percent and a content of substances soluble in water above 10 percent, non soluble in water carriers are added at an amount greater than 1/10 of the amount of dry matter in a solution, after which a dye-containing deposit is precipitated through acting on the solution with an organic solvent, soluble in water of concentration from 60 to 100 percent, preferably with ethanol or acetone or a mixture of those, but per one part of the solution from 2 to 15 parts by volume of a solvent or its solution are used, after which the precipitated deposit is dried by means of a said method.
