ALIGNING AND ASSEMBLING JIG

PURPOSE:To improve the workability of the aligning and assembling work of the title jig by surely bringing an optical element into close contact with the parts of a coupling system. CONSTITUTION:An optical element 11 and the parts 13 of a coupling system are assembled into one body by bringing the element 11 into close contact with the parts 13 while the element 11 is held by an element holding base 21. The base 21 is flexibly supported by a ring base 23 by means of three supporting pins 24 installed to the base 21 so that the pins 24 can be protruded from the outer peripheral section of the base 21 in the radial direction. Even when the coupling surface is not parallel with that of the parts 13, the element 11 can be brought into close contact with the parts 13 in a titled state in accordance with the inclination of the coupling surface of the parts 13 by press- contacting the element 11 with the parts 13.
