<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a backup power unit by separating a power source into two systems to back up the minimum required part by the backup power unit. CONSTITUTION:The terminal controller 1 is separated to a non-backup part 2 for a unit system for which no backup is required i.e., whose inoperable state due to power failure, etc., can be permitted temporarily, and a backup part 3 for the system of a main control part, etc., for which the backup is required. In such a case, the power source 4 is divided into a part from which a power is supplied to the non-backup part 2 and a part from which it is supplied to the backup part 3, and power cables 5, 6 are drawn from them, respectively, and the power cable 5 on one side is directly connected to a commercial AC receptacle, and the power cable 6 on the other side to the commercial AC receptacle via the backup power unit 7. The non-backup part 2 is operated with the power source from the cable 5, and the backup part 3 with the one from the cable 6.</p> |
