A telescopic extension arm of a self-propelled heading machine, joined tiltably the horizontal and vertical planes with the chassis of the machine, whereas the chassis consists of a stationary part and a sliding element ended with a tool, characterised in that the sliding part (5) of the extension arm is guided inside the stationary part (1) with some play between the pulleys (15) built into the opposite walls of the stationary part, whereas the flat surfaces of those pulleys have good sliding properties and can be removed from the walls of the stationary element (1).<IMAGE>
