PURPOSE:To provide an amplitude value processing method capable of giving a high accuracy in a broad frequency zone and realizing a protection relay having an extremely small fluctuation in characteristics. CONSTITUTION:In the amplitude value processing method for a digital protection relay, a digital data im is sampled at the predetermined time of the input quantity of electricity; this data im is placed in time series between two digital data im - J and im + j which are respectively deviated by same duration; processing 12 is performed for im<2> - im-j.im + j from the data im -j and im + j; and the amplitude value is computed by multiplying the result of the above by a compensation value equivalent to im<2> to {im<2> - (im-j + im f j)<2>/4} ratio in a circuit 16. |
