<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method to simply judge the dampproof property of a nonlinearly voltage dependent resistor in a short period, and also to provide a nonlinearly voltage dependent resistor, having excellent dampproof property, in which the above-mentioned judging method is utilized. CONSTITUTION:When a dampproof property test is conducted on a nonlinearly voltage dependent resistor, which is mainly composed of zinc oxide and containing one or more kinds of additives, the fine hole diameter distribution of the non-linear voltage resistor base material is measured, and based on the measured fine hole diameter distribution, or desirably on the basis of 0.005ml/g or less for the fine hole of 1mum or smaller, the acceptance or non-acceptance of the dampproof property of the non-linear resistor is judged, and the non- linearly voltage dependent resistor is obtained.</p> |
