<p>PURPOSE:To smoothly advance a transfer paper and to make the transfer paper stiff so as to guarantee the effect of preventing the trailing edge of the transfer paper from leaping by constituting a device so that the central part of a guiding member where a rib is provided can be displaced in an up-and-down direction. CONSTITUTION:The central part 4a of the guiding member 4 where the rib 10 is provided is formed as a separate body, and rotatably attached to the member 4 through pins 11 on both sides. The actuator 12a of a solenoid 12 is pivotally supported and connected through a connecting rod 16 on a side opposite to a side where the central part 4a faces to a roller pair, and the central part 4a is controlled to be displaced to two points by turning on/off the solenoid 12. When the transfer paper is advanced to the roller pair of a fixing device, the central part 4a of the member 4 where the rib 10 is provided is displaced downward, and the carrying surface of the central part 4a and the carrying surface of the member 4 get the same plane, that is, a state where the rib does not exist is attained, thereby guaranteeing that the transfer paper is smoothly advanced. When the trailing edge of the transfer paper passes, the central part 4a is displaced upward and the rib 10 acts on the trailing edge of a copying paper, which is made stiff.</p> |
