<p>PURPOSE:To protect such erroneous discrimination that the occurrence of a failure that particular bits of data are fixed at a constant value is discriminated as a synchronizing state. CONSTITUTION:At the sending side, data F1 and F2 of particular bit pattern for frame synchronization are sent out, and further surplus bits are installed in a frame constitution to check data F1 and F2 of which values of corresponding bits are different from one another. At the receiving side, synchronizing data F1 and F2 are detected and are discriminated as synchronizing state, followed by receiving data F3a and F3b, and further followed by comparing their corresponding bits. Furthermore, when corresponding bits are not in agreement with one another, it is discriminated that frame synchronization is correctly established, and when the corresponding bits are in agreement with one another, it is discriminated that a failure occurs such that particular bits are fixed at a constant value, and that the discrimination that the data transmission system is in a synchronous state is incorrect.</p> |
