PURPOSE:To input chord information to the chord information output device without using the input device of an automatic accompaniment device itself which has no keyboard by detecting a chord from key information on a detected keying state and outputting this chord information to the outside. CONSTITUTION:A keying state detection part 11 outputs a key scan signal S1 to a keyboard 10 and receives key scan data D1 outputted from the keyboard 10 corresponding to the key scan signal S1 to detect the keying state. A chord detection part 14 performs chord detection based upon key information D4 from the keying state detection part 11 according to chord detection type information D8 from an operation state detection part 13 and supplies chord information D6 to a key information development part 15 and an internal information output part 19. Thus, the chord is detected corresponding to the keying state of the keyboard 10 and outputted as the chord information by an internal information output part 19 to an external device to supply this chord information to, for example, the automatic accompaniment device having no keyboard, thereby enabling the chord information input by using the keyboard of a chord information output device. |
