The composition of raw materials for production of inorganic fibers including: SiO2, Al2O3, CaO, MgO, Na2O, K2O, Fe2O3, FeO, BaO, B2O3, consisting in that the raw materials composition for a whirl-spinneret-gas method of fiber tearing contains: SiO2: 36-50 per cent, Al2O3: 12-17 per cent, CaO: 20-35 per cent, MgO: 0.1-10 per cent, Na2O: 1.5-9.5 per cent, K2O: 0.1-8.5 per cent, Fe2O3 + FeO: 0.1-7.5 per cent and / or small quantities of such oxides as MnO, BaO, SO3.
