1. A method of planishing aluminium alloy casts in which the casts are initially subjected to rough grinding with the use of abrasives, preferably with resinoid bond moisted with an aqueous solution of any degreasing agent, and the mixture of casts, bricks and the degreasing agent is rotated, and after finishing the rough grinding the process is repeated as the finishing grinding but with the use of polishing abrasives with smaller sizes characterised in that in the process of rough grinding, the casts are mixed in the proportion not exceeding 1:7 with abrasives not larger than 18 mm and the graining of the abrasive material not exceeding 46.6 micrometer using maximum 0.5 percent water solution of a degreasing agent, and the whole mixture is subjected to a toroidal screw motion, the impure degreasing agent is constantly replaced with a pure agent, and the whole process of rough grinding lasts 60-300 minutes, and further, in the process of the finishing grinding, the casts are mixed in the same proportion with ball-shaped, steel polishing abrasives with diameters not exceeding 8 mm using 1.2-2 percent water solution of the degreasing agent, which is also constantly replaced, and the whole process of finishing grinding lasts 10-50 minutes.
