PURPOSE:To display the parallel movement and rotation of a three-dimensional object graphic by simple operation and to intuitively specify an operator's gaze line direction. CONSTITUTION:When the panning operation of rotational movement is specified by a mouse 11, a panning control part 13 plots a directional segment(DS) directed to the center Pc of a circle CIR based upon the circle CIR with a prescribed radius and a cursor position Pe and a plotting control part 14 forms a semisphere HCB set up by defining the circle CIR as the outline of its bottom and plots a three-dimensional object image TDI' on a screen 20 by setting up a point P2 existing on the semisphere and projected to the cursor position Pe as a visual point. When panning operation for parallel movement is specified, a boundary indicating the display enabled range of the image TDI' obtained when a point indicated by the cursor is plotted on the center of the screen and a directional segment directed from the point to the center of the screen are plotted and the image TDI' is plotted by parallel movement so that the point indicated by the cursor is plotted on the center of the display screen based upon a display request. |
