PURPOSE:To apply the title device to a small-sized electronic component by a method wherein at least four jaw members which are arranged symmetrically to the axial line of a nozzle are moved by equal distances from the axial line by means of a link and the jaw members are constituted so as to perpendicularly press four sides of the electronic component. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with jaw members 153, 154 which are used to correct the posture and the position of an electronic component which has been sucked to a nozzle opening 151a; the jaw members are attached so as to be movable parallel to a bottom plate 155; the jaw members are always energized to the side of the central line of a suction nozzle 151 by means of springs 160, 161. The jaw members 153, 154 are constituted in the following manner: four jaw members are installed across the nozzle pipe 151 so as to grip and hold at least four side faces of the electronic component; the jaw members which are faced across the nozzle pipe 151 are connected by links 162, 163; and the jaw members are moved by equal distances from the center of the nozzle opening 151a. Thereby, even the electronic component which is small-sized can be gripped and held in such a way that its center coincides accurately with the axial line of the nozzle. |
