PURPOSE:To prevent toner from falling to an exposure device when a protective lens is detached by integrally constituting an electrostaticaly charging device and the protective lens. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatically charging unit 2 with the protective lens of a laser printer is provided with the electrostatically charging device 11 and the protective lens 12 used for preventing toner from falling. They are integrated via a guide member 13 made of resin while equalizing the service life. The protective lens 12 is made of plastic and arranged above the opening part through which light irradiating a photosensitive drum 1 of the exposure device 3 passes. When toner sticks to the surface of the protective lens 12, the entire charging unit 2 is taken out, therefore the replacement can be carried out without falling the toner to the exposure device 3. |
