Prefab. component for cladding pier footings - uses concrete form placed around steel base on foundation and concrete cast into form

The component for cladding pier footings in a building is of prefab. construction. In order to protect the supporting member (25) and/or the building users from coming in contact, the support has a pre-cast concrete half shell (2) placed around it. Concrete is poured into the annulus between the support and the concrete cast, thus producing an integral unit. USE/ADVANTAGE - Pier footings cladding construction allows attractive detail of support footings as well as protection.
