An arrangement for sepg. uniform, large moulding from extruded plastic material sections, esp. plastic oxide catalyst extrusions, includes a rotating cutting element located in front of a holed plate, with its axis in the the same axis as the extruded material. The cutting element and the extruder opening have a surrounding crown wheel. The latter has one or more wire sections fixed at diametrically opposed points. The wire sections are pref. attached via spiral springs. ADVANTAGE - The arrangement is simple and reliable.
