The IC engine has a crankcase, with a shaft, and a connecting rod, which is connected to a piston. This moves in a cylinder, and the cylinder head has gas valves. These control the connection between combustion chamber and gas intake and discharge channels. The intake channels open on one cylinder head side, and are connected to a gas collection channel. A fluid collection channel (4) is connected via tubes to chambers in the cylinder head. The channel is located on the engine-side of the gas collection channel (3). Tubes to the cylinder heads, each have a head section (6) and a rising section (7). The latter is located between the cylinder head (1) and the gas collection channel.
