The vehicle-windscreen glazing is particularly for a bus, having a profiled elastic seal (3) fitting over flanges on the windscreen opening and also holding the pane (4) by its edges. The free outside surface of each windscreen column (2) is covered by a strip (5) clipped to it, and which has a free flange (7) covering most of the seal. The free edge of the flange is covered by a protruding lip (8) on the seal and extending away from the pane. The lip material can be harder than that used for the remainder of the seal.
