An arrangement for monitoring electrical networks feeds pulses representing the state of a network to a computer which passes the necessary pulses to a switching station after evaluation. One (3) of two electromechanical pulse generators (3,4) connected to a line (7) in the network is also connected to an electrical switching device (1) with two electromagnets (9,10) and a membrane (14) carrying a contact bolt (13). The other pulse generator (4) is connected via a pulse divider (5) and thyristor to plates (16,17) concentric to the bolt. The pulse divider also passes pulse to the computer. USE/ADVANTAGE - Ensures accurate and reliable delivery of pulses representing state of network despite presence of switching noise.
