The driving lamp (spotlight) for a car has a plastics material shell with a double wall around the edge where the lens is attached. The reflector rests on the inner wall and is both adjustable and detachable. It is held in place by the lens which presses on an outer circumferential groove. The lens itself is held onto the outer wall by a plastics material ring overlapping the edge. The ring has tongues projecting inwards at the point opposite the lamp mounting post. These tongues fit into a recess in the shell outer wall. The middle tongue is a locating tongue, the outer two are spring ones. The lens can be swivelled out by the ring pivoting on the tongues.
