An arrangement for measuring liquid levels in tank arrangement of fibre-reinforced compound materials contains a level sensor which influences an indicator via an evaluation device (6). The sensor consists of a tube (2) of non-magnetic material which communicates with the tank interior and contains a magnetic float (4) whose height varies with the level of liquid. Several Hall probes connected to the evaluation circuit and influenced by the magnetic float are mounted on the outside of the tube. ADVANTAGE - Safe for installation in aircraft.
