The rotary piston engine housing has a casing formed from a two arched track and sides which are traversed by an eccentric shaft with cam-mounted triangular piston sealing at corners the casing track. The piston has injection nozzle and spark plug in the axis zones facing the piston inlet and outlet ports. The injection nozzle (15) is ahead of the axis zone (14) in the piston rotation sense as compared with the spark plug (16), which lies behind this zone. The nozzle bores (24) are directed at a tangent to the inwards ascending surface of the axis zone and thus into the piston trough (18),whose leading area end lies below the central axis of the spark plug as injection starts.
