In a disc, carrying bound antigen or antibody and intended for use in sample tubes, the new feature is presence of an essentially central hole. The hole is circular so that the disc is shaped like a ring. The disc is made of paper or plastic (e.g., polyester or polyamide). USE/ADVANTAGE - The discs are used to detect/determine substances in aq. or organic solns. by standard immunochemical methods in tubes microtitre plates, etc
