A mounting device 2, primarily for a radiator 3, comprises a first engaging member 17 for securing a first retaining portion 14 projecting from the radiator and a second engaging member 9 for securing the radiator or a second retaining portion 4 projecting therefrom, member 9 being capable of being moved relatively to the first engaging member 17 against the tension of a spring 10, member 17 being configured as part of a recess 15 which opens towards the radiator 3 and is outwardly narrowed by a locking element 6 on the side remote from member 9, and there being provided, on the side of the recess 15 facing member 9 and/or on the side of a further recess 21 in the mounting device remote from member 17 in the vicinity of member 9, a retaining face 8, 8a for substantially inhibiting movement of the first retaining portion 14 and/or the second retaining portion 4 in a direction away from the first engaging member 17 when the radiator 3 is mounted in its retained position. <IMAGE> |
