A pre-adjusting device for tools has a rolling-contact bearing (13, 15) and a bearing sleeve (13) with an inner and an outer circumferential surface, the bore of which is provided to accommodate a conically designed bearing journal (3) with its likewise conical inner circumferential surface. The rolling-contact bearing is designed as a needle roller bearing (13, 15).
