PURPOSE:To achieve the high efficiency of total heat recovery from higher temperature air flow by classifying a rotary element into a sensible heat exchange element part and a total heat exchange element, and enable the treatment of condensed water by providing a sensible heat exchange part with the humidity-resistance. CONSTITUTION:A sensible heat exchange element part 3 is formed by impregnating a resin having the heat-resistance and the humidity-resistance into a forward half part 3 of a rotary element made of kraft paper. The primary air flow A is a combustion exhaust gas having about 150 deg.C in temperature and about 50 deg.C in temperature at dew point. When the secondary air flow B is considered as the open air in winter, in case of the heat exchange in the sensible heat exchanger element part 3 between the primary air flow A having the high temperature, high humidity; and the secondary air flow B increased its temperature, humidity higher than the open air by a total heat exchange element part 4; the temperature of the primary air flow A is decreased. Even when the temperature of the primary air flow A is lowered less than the temperature of the dew point and the condensation is produced, the influence for the performance of the element does not occur because of its water-resistance. The primary air flow A after decreased in its temperature is introduced into the total heat exchange element part 4 under about 100% in the relative humidity, accordingly, the higher latent heat exchange efficiency can be obtained as compared with using only the total heat exchanger. |
