New thiopyranopyrrole derivatives of general formula (I) in which X is an oxygen atom or an NH radical, R1 is phenyl, which is optionally substituted, cyclohexadienyl, naphthyl or heterocyclyl, R2 is H, halogen, OH, alkyl, aminoalkyl, alkylaminoalkyl, dialkylaminoalkyl, alkyloxy, alkylthio, acyloxy, carboxy, optionally substituted alkyloxycarbonyl, benzyloxycarbonyl, amino or acylamino, and n is 0, 1 or 2, in their stereoisomeric forms and their mixtures, optionally their salts when they exist and their preparation.
