PURPOSE:To perform a wide and shallow-range dredging work with good efficiency by a method in which bottom sediments collected by a sludge collector are sucked into a sludge storage tank set on a ship through a flexible tube and also sent under pressure to others. CONSTITUTION:A dredger is provided with a rigid beam 14 laid in the widthwise direction of a side-long rectangular frame 10 made of H-steels, 10a, 10b, and 10c, which can be moved toward the lengthwise direction, a nearly U-shaped cross- sectional casing 16 having an opening in its front, which is hung in a vertically movable manner from the beam 14, and an angular soil discharge plate extended from the upper edge of the opening to the front. A sludge-collecting rotary shaft 19 with fins 19a and 19b each of which is mutually twisted to opposite directions from the center to left and right directions, which is set along the longwise direction in the casing 16, is also provided, and sludge is raked up by rotation of the rotary shaft 19 and sucked-in and sent through the connecting pipe 27. The dredging operation and efficiency can thus be made easier and enhanced. |
