PURPOSE:To offer the light source device which can secure enough electric insulation property, without enlarging a heat sink to the outside, and can adequately cool even a lamp whose heating value is high. CONSTITUTION:In heat sinks 18, 20 each of different electrodes for holding a light source lamp 16, a cooling fin 41 being a heat radiation part is formed by extending out opposed faces of these heat sinks 18, 20 to the direction in which they are adjacent to each other, and by installing and providing internal insulating plates 42, 43 being insulating members in a gap part of the cooling fin 41 of the heat sink 18 and the cooling fin 41 of the heat sink 20, the cooling efficiency is improved, and also, the electric insulation property is adequately secured. |
