PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive cat food having balanced nutrients and high digestibility by using a boiled and ground fish meat as a main material and adding a specific amount of grains. CONSTITUTION:Fish meat such as tuna or sardine meat is added with 20-35vol.% of water and the mixture is boiled and ground. The objective cat food is prepared by mixing 100 pts.wt. of the obtained water-containing main material with 3-10 pts.wt. of grains (e.g. rice, barley or bean) separately prepared by heating the grain in a closed vessel at a high temperature and reducing the pressure to cause the expansion of the grain. |
