Proposed is a vehicle wheel, in particular a wheel for passenger cars, comprising a rim (1) designed to hold a tyre and a wheel disk (2) connecting the rim (1) with the hub. In order to reduce the wheel weight while ensuring adequate heat transfer through the wheel disk (2), the wheel is designed such that the rim (1) is made at least extensively of plastic and the wheel disk (2) at least extensively of metal, and such that the rim (1) is connected to the wheel disk (2) by phisical interlocking of parts or by firctional forces, or is joined to it by material bonding. |
