摘要

PURPOSE:To provide ink jet recording paper imparting high printing density, showing good color developability capable of performing printing recording of high image quality with high resolving power and excellent in preservability CONSTITUTION:Ink jet recording paper is prepared by applying 0.01-5.0g/m<2> of an alkali metal salt to at least one surface of base paper containing at least wood cellulose and a filler whose pH is 4.0-8.0 as a solution at the time of 10wt.% dispersion and characterized by that the pH of the cold water extract thereof is 6.0-8.0.
