PURPOSE:To prevent a void at the time of molding from occurring, to increase the deflective strength of a PZT piezoelectric body and simultaneously to improve the durability of the body on driving. CONSTITUTION:In a method of manufacturing PZT piezoelectric plates consisting of a powder mixing process where raw powder including PbO, TiO2 and ZrO2 is weighed and mixed by the prescribed quantities, a calcining process where the obtained mixed powder is calcined, a crushing process where the obtained calcined powder is crushed, a compacting process where the obtained crushed powder is compacted into a green compact and a sintering process where the green compact is sintered, the calcined powder obtained in the calcining process has an unreacted part selected from PbTiO3, TiO2 and ZrO2 retained. |
