NONHALOGENOUS DETERGENT COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain a nonaqueous or aqueous nonhalogenous detergent composition which can substitute for a fluorocarbon detergent by mixing a specified amine compound with a specified aliphatic alcohol/alkylene oxide adduct. CONSTITUTION:A nonhalogenous detergent composition is obtained by mixing 100 pts.wt. alkylene oxide adduct of formula I (wherein R is 6-22C linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl; A is 2-3C alkylene; and m is an integer of 1-20) with 0.1-30 pts.wt. amine compound of formula II (wherein X and Y are the same or different; and are each hydrogen or (AO)n H, provided that both X and Y are not simultaneously hydrogen atoms; A is as defined in formula I, and n is an integer of 1-3). This composition is mixed with water to obtain an aqueous nonhalogenous detergent composition.
