<p>An improved cutting assembly 10 for plasticised sheets is provided with a blade holder 40 consisting of a rotating shaft 60, with an opposing roller 42 underneath, to which are connected blocks 66 incorporating a heated blade 68. The paper backings 24 which rise above at one end are connected to the film 20, which is acted upon, along the line of overlapping, by one of the blades 68 which simultaneously compresses and cuts into said film. At least one pair of opposite rollers 44, 46, situated downstream of the blade holder 40, turns at higher speed to detach and remove the paper backings 24 between them. A position sensor 72 picks up the point of overlapping of said backings and activates the rotation of the blade holder 40 by means of a programmer 74. <IMAGE></p> |
