PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition having excellent mechanical strength, sliding properties and especially excellent wear resistance, comprising a fluororesin and carbon fibers having specific physical properties. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) 99-40 pts.wt. fluororesin composed of preferably polytetraethylene homopolymer and (B) 1-60 pts.wt. carbon fibers having 3.36-3.45Angstrom spacing d(002) of (002) plane of X-ray wide angle scattering method, 35-400Angstrom size (Lc) of crystallite in c-axis direction and 40-800Angstrom size (Lc) of crystallite of a-axis direction. |
