PURPOSE:To obtain a electric hot air heater capable of supplying warm-air having higher calory into a room by a method wherein the generating amount of adsorption heat from humidity adsorbing material is increased. CONSTITUTION:In an electric hot air heater 1, a hot air heater 17, heating room air mainly, is provided in a guide duct 4 at the downstream side of the ventilating direction of a moisture absorbing and heat generating device 28 receiving moisture adsorbing material 26, adsorbing moisture and generating heat. When a fan 10 is driven, the room air is ventilated from an air suction port 7 with a temperature as it is and contains water vapor from an ultrasonic humidifying device 27, then, is introduced into the moisture adsorbing and heat generating device 28 whereby adsorption heat is generated there due to the adsorption of the water vapor into the moisture adsorbing material 26 while the generated heat is given to the room air. In this case, the temperature of the room air, sent into the moisture adsorbing and heat generating device 28, is not risen and, therefore, the amount of adsorption of the moisture into the moisture adsorbing material 26 is comparatively much. Accordingly, hot air containing higher calory can be supplied into the room. |
