PURPOSE:To obtain a position detection device capable of measuring the exact position of a large obstacle by using three dimensional with measurement with three GPS satellites. CONSTITUTION:The title system is constituted of a GPSD receiver 2 consisting of a position detector 1 and a reflector 7 the latter of which receives the wave from a satellite and outputs the GPS measurement data, a reflector distance detector 3 to transmit wave to the reflector 7 and detect the distance between the reflector 7 and the position detector 1 using the phase difference of the received wave from the reflector 7 and output the reflector distance data and a position calculator 5 to calculates the preset opposition based on the GPS measurement data based on the waves from three GPS satellites 8, 9, 10, the reflector distance data and the reflector position data. By using the position and distance of three satellites and known placing position of the reflector and the reflector distance data instead of the position and distance of the fourth GPS satellites, the position calculator calculates the preset position. |
