PURPOSE:To provide a PTFE polymer alloy, in which the mechanical strength, particularly compressive strength of PTFE is increased largely. CONSTITUTION:A PTFE polymer alloy is manufactured in such a manner that a mixer using 'a pestle and a mortar' as a model is employed and pressure and shearing are applied repeatedly at a temperature higher than the highest melting point in these polymers as a basic principle when the blend of PTFE and at least one kind of a polymer of a different kind is prepared. |
